• Content for Translation: When you trigger a translation (via screen selection, window detection, or text hook), the application captures an image of the selected area or retrieves text from the target application.
• API Keys: If you use third-party services (like Google Cloud, Azure, DeepL), you may provide your personal API keys. These are stored locally on your device in the application's configuration files.

2. How We Use Your Information

The screen content or text you select is processed for the sole purpose of Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and Translation.

• Local Processing: If you use local OCR (Windows Built-in, Tesseract) or local translation capability (NLLB), your data never leaves your computer.
• Cloud Processing: If you select a cloud-based OCR or Translation engine (e.g., Google, DeepL, Azure), the necessary text or image data is sent securely to the respective third-party API to obtain the result. We do not store this data on our own servers.

3. Third-Party Services

These applications allow you to interface with third-party services. Please review their privacy policies to understand how they handle your data:

4. Data Storage

The applications store a local history of your translations on your device to allow you to review past translations. You can clear this history at any time through the application settings.
